We are seeking a skilled and dependable Welder to join our manufacturing team. Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols.
• Set up and operate welding equipment for various materials and weld positions.
• Perform welding operations according to specifications and quality standards.
• Inspect completed welds for accuracy, strength, and quality.
• Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools.
• Retrieve materials and fabricated parts from inventory locations.
• Store and organize finished products and materials.
• Track and update work orders through the company computer system.
• Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum of 2 years of welding experience or equivalent technical education/training.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings, weld symbols, and work instructions.
• Knowledge of safe welding practices and manufacturing procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Basic computer skills and comfort using software to track jobs and production activities.

Preferred

• Previous manufacturing or production welding experience.
• Forklift operation experience.
• Experience working in fast-paced production environments.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching.
• Regular use of hands and arms to operate welding and fabrication equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and production demands.
